As the members own Hayling Golf Club, we ensure investment is directed at the course and clubhouse to provide the best possible standards for the members at the same time as safeguarding the long-term future of the Club. The membership limits are at 600 playing members falling in four categories, Full male (7 Day), 5-Day Male, Full Lady (7 Day) and 5-Day Lady. In addition Hayling Golf Club has a thriving junior section. The Club provides a very high standard of competitive golf. There is an extensive programme of competitions and matches that cater for all levels of golfer in all sections. For couples we also have a thriving mixed golf programme of formal competitions, informal roll-ups and as well as friendly matches with local clubs. Socially, the Club is very active with a number of social functions, gourmet nights, regular Sunday carvery, BBQs etc arranged through the year. These are open to all members and their guests. Hayling Golf Club is pleased to encourage those new to the sport and in 2008 we launched a Beginners' Membership category. This is a 12 month programme during which time the beginner would be expected to attain full membership standard. Transfer to the appropriate membership category is guaranteed.
As a playing member of Hayling Golf Club you will be entitled to:
Play a first class links course and one of the best courses in the South of England.
A course that drains exceptionally well resulting in very few days of closure.
A full calendar of over 50 competitions and knockouts events.
Internal and inter club matches for all standards.
A reciprocal agreement to play other top quality courses beyond Hampshire at heavily discounted rates throughout the year.

As a Social member of Hayling Golf Club you will be entitled to :
Members' discount of 20% on bar, 10% on catering via a members card.
Use of dining/private function room for your private parties or business meetings at discounted room hire rates.
Excellent catering from our caterers, led by a Cordon Bleu trained chef, who produce everything from bar snacks to a la carte dining.
A busy social calendar.
Membership Of Hayling Golf Club
The normal, and preferred, way in which suitable candidates are introduced to the Club is by being proposed by a member of at least two years' standing. However, we recognise that newcomers to the district may not know a member of the club, and understand that keen golfers may not wish to delay applying for membership while they become established in the area. In such cases the committee will propose a candidate for membership if they are able to submit a letter of introduction from the Secretary of their current/previous club or suitable reference or via suitable interview with the Membership Committee. Social membership is available to non-golfers and those whose playing days are over. The same application process applies to both men and women.
