" Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and thanks to the green staff for the truly fantastic greens .So smooth and true.We understand the difficulties all clubs have experienced with the extreme conditions during the summer but that did not detract from our enjoyment of the day.
Also the catering was first class and the staff were very efficient and helpful to us all day and not a quibble to be heard on the food front.
I must put in a mention for the efforts of the Course Marshall. Personally I thought he was the best I have ever come across and he made our day seamless. He was very personable and was a great help from beginning to end and everyone appreciated his excellent sense of humour

Just a quick note to say I’m really enjoying the club and have already met some great members. I took my daughter out at the weekend for the first time and she walked 6 holes with me, until the wind started blowing - and we both got very cold.
My daughter has autism and is non-verbal, but she is enjoying the club too and being made to feel very welcome and the kitchen staff went beyond the call of duty to make her a Sandwich on Saturday when very busy with a wedding. Just a brilliant golf course, brilliant golf club and I’m just so glad I joined

" A huge note of thanks and appreciation, for providing such a wonderful venue and high level of service for my daughter's wedding reception…..the staff were amazing and I would like to pass on my special thanks to Simon, Luke and Lou for their sterling efforts, along with those of their catering, waiting and bar related teams, who all worked so hard to give us a truly memorable day, which was so greatly appreciated by all.
As for the venue, myself and many other guests (who passed on really positive feedback to me directly), were so impressed as to how creatively everything had been laid out in a very thoughtful manner and we really couldn't have asked for more. We were even blessed by the weather, including a gorgeous sunset, which we enjoyed in awe, but I guess for that we have to thank someone far loftier in standing!
All in all, it's fair to say, Hayling Golf Club and its staff, played a massive part in making [the] wedding so memorable and for that, I am just so truly grateful ".

"We had a brilliant time in fantastic conditions, both weather wise and the course itself. The most striking thing was the welcome everybody at the club gave us - from yourself in the pro shop, to a set of members on the course and then two sets of members at the bar. We felt really welcome and both left having had a great afternoon".

"...........Hayling is an eclectic concoction of all that links has to offer – sharp pot bunkers, hard and fast turf, quietly undulating greens, blind shots, gorse and need we forget … wind!........The turf on the Sinah Common is supreme, and as a Site of Special Scientific Interest it is stunning also. Undulating dunes framed with fescue, heather and gorse. One of the more beautiful, and perhaps hidden details (depending if you find the fairway or not) is the lichen – the circulatory system for all flora and a pulsating silver carpet.
To be honest, I fell for Hayling long before my visit. So much so, that I committed to becoming a Distant Member off the back of photography from the likes of Jason Livy and Sam Cooper. And of course the rumours circulating that this is the most underrated links in the land. I can safely say that I agree with this gossip and all it took was the sight from the balcony upon the glorious Art Deco clubhouse that surveys the opening and closing holes.
Each of the holes within this stretch is a jewel, and would happily find their way into the crown of any premier links routing".

".......all in all as a collective offering, I was blown away by Hayling. Courses that ask varied questions are always the most memorable and I can remember all 18 holes here after one visit. that is always my benchmark for a golf course that I'd like to visit again and Hayling most definitely resides in that category".

"....I wanted to say what a superb day we all had at Hayling Golf Club last week - my ladies loved every minute of it. From the warm and efficient welcome in the Pro Shop from Mark and his assistant, the F & B staff serving excellent sandwiches and of course the golf course - in terrific condition - and luckily only a moderate breeze on the day, it was a most enjoyable challenge! It was a very memorable occasion".
