b). Hayling Golf Club is situated on a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) which seeks to protect the natural grasses and other flora the area supports. As such we try and protect all the areas away from the fairways and paths as much as we can and request that all trollies and buggies are kept out of the rough and strictly on the paths or fairways. We realise this might mean that in some circumstances players have to park and carry a number of clubs to their ball but hope that they will understand this is in the best long-term interests of the course as a whole and thank you for your support in this.
c). A ball lying in Ground Under Repair (GUR) defined by a white line around the area MUST be dropped at the nearest point of relief and played from there. No play from within GUR is allowed.
The policy of Hayling Golf Club is to set a smart yet suitable standard of attire as befits the traditions and heritage of the game of golf and our own Club. Please assist us by ensuring that you and your guests adhere to this policy when visiting the Club.
Management, staff & all Members of Hayling Golf Club have the authority to politely enforce this dress code.
Any unacceptable response to a challenge should be reported to the Secretary or a Committee Member.
