The partnership between Hayling Golf Club and Enable Ability continues to thrive!
Last summer, Club Captain Rob Styles showed off the course as part of the “My Favourite Walk” series filmed and produced by participants in the charity’s social enterprise. Rob introduces the walk and the course, hole by hole, is shown in all its glory.
Participants with disabilities, typically aged 18-25, are being supported through a programme of work related and academic activities to become “work ready”. This particular work stream, called "What’s It Like" produces videos to help people with anxiety and associated disorders get a birds eye view of a place before they go.
Examples are vaccination centres, schools and health centres. Gunwharf Quays has also been filmed to help shoppers with anxiety issues see what’s where before they go!
